Upgrade your 1988–2000 GM C1500 from rear drums to disc brakes with our fully bolt-on rear disc conversion kit.
Designed for 5-lug trucks with the light-duty 10" drum axle (including the 454SS 14-bolt), this kit uses 11.625" x .820" vented rotors, laser-cut and powdercoated steel brackets, braided brake hoses, Grade 8 hardware, and your choice of three caliper configurations. All configurations include semi-metallic brake pads using commonly available replacement components.
No welding or axle-shaft removal required. Compatible with ABS, fits most 15" wheels, and retains near-stock track width.

NOTES:
- We recommend pairing this kit with our front upgrades HERE
- If you want to add Wilwood front calipers, check out the kit HERE
- Will fit inside many *but not all* 15 inch wheels. Typically if the caliper contacts inside of the wheel, clearance can be gained by light sanding of caliper contact points
- CK1500 master cylinder upgrade fits vacuum booster ONLY, NOT hydroboost. Stock hardlines will need slight readjustment to align with new master cylinder ports
- Wilwood calipers are NOT parking brake capable
Verify your flange dimensions with the image below. This can be done without removing anything simply by measuring the flange at the back side of the drum.

Even if it is listed above, if it is not the 10" drum size or does not have the correct flange measurements then the kit will not fit.
